IAPTI STUDENT FORUM RULES

The official language of the forum is English. For discussions in other languages the corresponding subforums under “Other Languages” are to be used.

Mutual respect is expected from all IAPTI members. Insults and/or any other type of offensive or discriminatory language in referring to other forum users or uninvolved third parties, who might, nevertheless, be affected by same, shall be considered absolutely inadmissible.

IAPTI especially recommends that colleagues not make linguistic corrections on other members’ postings during exchanges of opinion in the forum, as a token of professional respect and decorum.

Each member is allowed one login account. Registering with multiple accounts is not allowed.

Users’ opinions shall be given under their sole responsibility. Under no circumstances whatsoever shall such opinions be considered to be made in the name of IAPTI or of its members.

Should material from any other source be quoted or in any other way reproduced in the Forum, the source must be fully cited.

Mass advertising, spam and all other types of mass promotion are absolutely forbidden in the Forum.

Cross-Posting is forbidden. Cross-posting refers to posting new duplicate threads or posts, or the linking to threads or posts already started by the member with the intention of gaining exposure.

Disclosure of the personal data of third parties through the Forum is absolutely forbidden.

Under no circumstances whatsoever shall IAPTI permit the publication in its Forum of material that constitutes the promotion or incitement of criminal acts.

Any and all attachments, references, mentions or electronic links to or of materials infringing on laws against technological piracy or protecting intellectual property rights or trademarks, or that otherwise violate third-party commercial interests shall be absolutely prohibited.

Anyone who considers him/herself to have been affected by any expression rendered by any user of the Forum is hereby invited to make this situation known to the Forum Administrators or Moderators, so that a swift solution can be found to any conflict that might arise as a result of messages exchanged in the Forum.

Applicable sanctions for users who infringe on these Rules in any way may range from formal warnings to permanent expulsion from the Forum.

IAPTI reserves the right to modify these Forum Rules whenever it sees fit.
